Behind every report,
there’s a person.

A resident’s report of damp or mould deserves a considered response. Put people first, investigate the cause and keep a clear record of what happens next.

The right response
starts here.

Listen. Record. Respond.

Capture the resident’s concerns, the affected rooms and any immediate risks. Keep the resident informed throughout the response.

Find and fix the cause

Investigate the property and address moisture, defects or ventilation issues. An air purifier does not replace repairs or professional assessment.

Support the space

Discuss suitable interim air-quality measures, maintenance and a plan to review the property after work is complete.

Know the responsibilities.
Act on the risk.

Awaab’s Law applies to social landlords in England. Emergency hazards must be investigated and made safe within 24 hours of becoming aware of them. Potential significant hazards must be investigated within 10 working days; relevant safety work follows within 5 working days when a significant hazard is confirmed.

The official guidance sets out the scope, exceptions and further duties. Product use alone does not establish compliance.

Options to explore.

Support the resident.
Plan the follow-through.

For temporary air-quality support in housing, review the affected rooms, occupancy and ongoing repairs before selecting equipment. HEPA Pro can filter airborne particles that pass through it; it cannot remove established mould or resolve the moisture source.

From one room to a portfolio.

Agree placement, resident instructions, filter servicing and responsibility for follow-up. Keep investigation, repairs and remediation moving alongside any equipment plan. A product does not establish legal compliance or certify that a property is safe.
